The Size to fit Every Kitchen

Do you have enough countertop space in your kitchen?  The Breville Smart Oven BOV8OOXL measurements are 11.25” high, 18.5” wide and 16.25” deep.  It is amazing what will fit into this oven.  It is small enough to fit onto most people’s countertop, but has space inside for a 13” pizza tray, or a 9 “ x 13” dish. The cable is a little less than 3 feet long, so you need to make sure you have an adequate (meaning 20 amp) power point close by.  Also, make sure there is free space above and to the sides of the oven.

Saves Energy

It does everything your traditional oven does, but occupies less space.  Much more economical to run, you can take approximately 20% off preheating time, and if you use the convection mode you can take off 20% off oven temperature and 20% off cooking time.

Easy to Use

The clever door design pulls forward the shelf when you open the door, so you don’t risk burning yourself when you take out your perfectly cooked dish.  Just take care to open the door slowly, if you don’t want your red-hot pizza flying out!

Easy to clean

Very easy to clean, with a non-stick interior, and a front-access removable crumb tray.

One word of warning about the top of the oven. It does get quite hot.  However this is actually part of the clever design, and you can take advantage of this by putting a heat resistant cutting board on the top as a warming tray. NB. The bamboo cutting board offered on Amazon is for the Breville Compact Smart Oven, and is too small for the Smart Oven.

Warranty

There is a 1-year limited warranty.  I notice that there are a few negative reviewers on Amazon complaining about the poor service they received from Breville.  However, with a 4.5 star rating,  90% of the 550 reviews are positive, and I also get the impression that Breville’s service has improved.  I do not hesitate to recommend the Breville BOV8OOXL Smart Oven as the best countertop toaster oven on the market today.
